Recent Ice Storm

First of all, we hope that everyone came through this devastating ice storm all right and that the ensuing cleanup goes well for us all. I'd like to thank all our customers for their patience while we were down. I'm sorry to those of you that I couldn't accomodate -- please understand that the safety of your pets is my main concern and I could not reopen until I was sure I could properly care for your pets.
Thanks also to all of you who offered your assistance and support. It's very heart warming to see neighbors caring for neighbors and pulling together during trying times. In this day and age, it's so common to read about people hurting other people and looting or stealing from others during times of crises. The residents of this area should be proud of the way they acted and responded during this past week.
I'm sure we would all like to extend our thanks to all who worked so diligently to get us through this crisis. People like Judge Bodenhamer, Sheriff Montgomery, the city, county and state road crews, the crews of Entergy and NAEC and all the volunteers and crews who descended on the area to help in the cleanup and restoration. The list is endless.
Let's hope and pray that the worst is behind us and that 2009 turns out to be a wonderful year for us all.
